Join us this September at London International Shipping Week as we explore the impact of technology on crew wellbeing. The free event is taking place from 1pm on Wednesday 11th September.
The Mission to Seafarers will be co-hosting a Conference with three other welfare charities which aims to get to the heart of some of the industry’s most pressing welfare issues.
The Mission has invited leading names from across the industry to share their thoughts on the impact of technology on crew wellbeing and explore how the industry can meet the needs to the seafarers of the future, which is sponsored by and held at Inmarsat offices.
The Conference will also include a keynote speech from Dr Grahaeme Henderson, Vice President, Shipping & Maritime, Shell on ‘How Shipping Can Thrive: Today, Tomorrow and in the Future?’. His presentation will examine the importance of seafarer wellbeing to business performance, and share examples of the positives and challenges of technology application.

With its broad scope and global audience, LISW offers an ideal platform to build on the progress made enhancing welfare among the people driving our industry.
