The Mission to Seafarers Philippines Family Network (MtS Ph FN) was one awarded Most Outstanding Community Enterprise 2018. Out of four hundred nominated organizations around the country, the MtS Ph FN was chosen as one of the top 20 recipients by the Villar Sipag Foundation for its impressive record of welfare services to the seafarers and their families in spite of only 3 years of service.
The award was received on behalf of MtS Ph FN by May S. Jose- Program coordinator, Prof. Mr. Fructuoso Sabug Jr. and , Dr. Michael Marquez- CB Members, volunteers, representatives from the seafarers and families during the awards on December 14 at Villar Sipag Center, Las Pinas City by the former Senate President Manny Villar and Senator Cynthia Villar.
Mission to Seafarers Philippines (MtS Ph) is an ecumenical and community based project of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) and the Anglican Church as their common mission in caring for seafarers away from home and their families at home.
