Following the success of the 2018 Posidonia Running Event, which attracted over 1,700 participants from all over the world, the 2022 Posidonia Running Event promises even more excitement, networking opportunities and lots of fun!

The 3rd edition of the Posidonia Running Event will take place highlighting the importance of Piraeus for the global maritime community. Posidonia had to be cancelled in June 2020 due to Covid-19.

The streets of Piraeus will welcome some 2,000 runners, representing all aspects of the int’l shipping world, who will join forces for a good cause. Proceeds of the race will again be donated to the Municipality of Piraeus, the Public Benefit Municipal Corporation of Piraeus and other organisations, including The Mission to Seafarers. Don’t miss the opportunity to have fun, exercise and make a difference!

The 5km run will commence at 09:00 in front of the prestigious Municipal Theatre of Piraeus. Each participant will receive a souvenir medal, a participation t-shirt and a race bag. Bib numbers, pins and timing chip are included.

Registration £50. Suggested sponsorship raised £350.
