July 2020
We can help you plan and organise a single day of fundraising activities that draws together the expertise and enthusiasm of the employees across your entire organisation. A Global Day of Action creates excitement, draws together separate teams, and raises vital funds for our work across the globe.
We support you from the earliest planning stages right up to the day itself. We will offer ideas, advice based on past experiences, and the enthusiasm to make your day a success.
There is no set date for a GDA you simply pick a date that suits you best.
The final quarter of 2020 will be a critical time for the continuing delivery of our services and seafarer needs will be even greater. It will also hopefully be a period that sees a significant upturn in the fortunes of the sector. If your company is in a position to organise a Global Day of Action before the end of the year it will deliver impact and help seafarers across the globe.
Holman Fenwick Willan was the first organisation to create a GDA in 2019 and they raised an amazing £25,000. In 2020 they will be joined by V Group. The final quarter of 2020 would be an excellent time to have your Global Day of Action for seafarers.
For more details on organising your own Global Day of Action please contact Maurizio Borgatti.

There are moments when the world remembers the sea. Not the romanticised sea of postcards and sunsets, but the working ocean – the one that carries almost everything we own, eat, wear or rely upon. It is a remembering...
