We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated individual to join our small team that offers a range of welfare services to seafarers promoting social, physical, spiritual and mental well-being.
On behalf of the Mission to Seafarers you will work to ensure an effective port welfare service to seafarers and their families, of all different backgrounds and nationalities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is able to work flexibly depending on port schedules and offer support to seafarers by visiting ships. You will build friendships and respond to seafarers needs as appropriate. A full, clean driving licence with a car is a requirement of this role.

The Mission to Seafarers is an international Christian maritime charity. It has become one of the largest port-based welfare operators in the world working in 200 ports and 50 countries. Our frontline staff visit ships, offer hospitality, drive minibuses and engage a range of other welfare activity. Seafarers spend up to nine months away from home and the Mission offers a friendly face and a helping hand to those in port. We help seafarers who are stranded or abandoned, assist with justice cases and support their families.
