The Mission to Seafarers is seeking an experienced fundraising assistant to join the Development team as it continues to grow the income for this long-established charity.
In this role you will support the development team by providing general administration and logistical support. You will be processing unsolicited donations using Raisers Edge and carry our legacy and in-memoriam administration. You will also provide administration and secretariat support to the Director of Development.
You will have excellent communication skills, a good working knowledge of Raiser Edge, and experience with updating and managing individual customer records.
The Mission to Seafarers is an international Christian maritime charity. It has become one of the largest port-based welfare operators in the world working in 200 ports and 50 countries. Our frontline staff visit ships, offer hospitality, drive minibuses and engage a range of other welfare activity. Seafarers spend up to nine months away from home and the Mission offers a friendly face and a helping hand to those in port. We help seafarers who are stranded or abandoned, assist with justice cases and support their families.
The Fundraising Assistant role is based in London, near Cannon Street Station and offers flexible working, generous pension, and 25 days holiday a year.
