Head of Corporate Development
The Mission to Seafarers is seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Head of Corporate Development to join its highly successful fundraising team.
You will work with the Director of Development to build on and implement a sustainable, corporate fundraising strategy for the establishment of high-value, long-term relationships with corporate entities; drive new corporate fundraising partnerships with national and global companies in the UK and overseas; raise income and the charity’s profile through attending conferences, dinners and other industry events; manage the Events team and oversee our programme of global events; and deputise for the Director of Development as required.
Candidates will have a proven track record in the strategic development of corporate fundraising; be a creative and solutions-focused thinker; have strong experience in team management in a fundraising environment; and have excellent communication skills. Some understanding or experience of the shipping industry would be an advantage.
