Voted online as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, this important historical site is a once in a lifetime must see. Once you have completed this challenging trek you can treat yourself by bathing in Peru’s famous ‘Aguas Calientas’ before the return home.

Itinerary

Day 1: Fly London - Lima, overnight in Lima.

Day 2: Fly Lima - Cusco. Time to acclimatise in Cusco.

Day 3: Tambo Machay acclimatisation walk.

Day 4: Cusco to Lares then on to Kunkani, start walking 3650m.

Day 5: Kunkani to Cruzcasa on to Chacchapata, climb to 4200m.

Day 6: Chaccchapata up to Hatun Paso across to Yanahuara Alto, walk up to 4600m.

Day 7: Yanahuara Alto trekking to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu.

Day 8: Aguas Calientes - Cusco. Free afternoon.

Day 9: Cusco - Lima - UK.

Day 10: Arrive London.
