The passing of Rev'd Canon Jim Pether was noted with sadness at the port of Napier. Jim was a good friend to our port, and a former priest in this Diocese. His gentle ministry was appreciated by many associated with the Hawkes Bay Seafarers Welfare Society, which provides and sustains the Seafarers' Centre at Napier.
